Shelbyville in the Middle Civil War Sesquicentennial is to take place on Saturday, June 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is being hosted by the Sons of Confederate Veterans and Shelbyville Parks and Recreation. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eastside Church of Christ with Frank Butler and Keith Camp officiating. Burial will follow at Bomar Cemetery in Raus. Visitation will begin at 12 noon. Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
