Steven Jeffrey Ellerth, 44, of Bell Buckle died Monday, July 15, 2013. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Dezotell officiating. Per his request he was cremated. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m.

One of those calls was placed to a Bedford County woman this week. She said she didn't fall for the scheme and refused to turn over requested information...

Over the past six years, United Way of Bedford County's "Stuff The School Bus" program has collected over 40,000 school supplies for Bedford County children who needed them, according to United Way executive director Dawn Holley.
