I am going back to school this year. My application has been accepted, and I am now a student at Emory University's Candler School of Theology. I will once again be reading text books, writing papers, and taking tests. I will be living in a college dorm in Atlanta from the middle of July until the middle of August, and coming home on the weekends...

The Times-Gazette on Wednesday recognized Martha Fisher for her award as 2013-2014 Tennessee Principal of the Year. The T-G presented the Cascade Elementary School principal with a plaque containing the story from October that announced the award. Utility lines were down after this van slid off Warners Bridge Road into a tree Saturday morning. Jerome Neeb of Collier Avenue in Shelbyville was injured, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
