Drugs found in car after pursuit

Drugs and money were found in possession of a man who eluded an early morning pursuit but was found a few minutes later Monday. Leonard Allen Richardson, 31, of Huntsville, Ala. was stopped by Deputy Jimmy Rhodes on New Center Church Road after city police were ordered to stop a pursuit out South Cannon Boulevard. Richardson allegedly threw a large amount of money at his girlfriend, who was in the front passenger seat, as he was being arrested, Rhodes said; $2,416 was found in the vehicle...
