SCHS students are getting artistic. Last fall, art-loving teachers and students formed a club at Shelbyville Central High School's annex. Baseball donation (Community Sports ~ 06/01/14)
Tim Weiland and Wendy Stacy with Shelbyville Automotive on North Main Street in conjunction with Chevy Youth Baseball make a $500 donation to the Bedford County Baseball League. Accepting the check on behalf of the league is Vice President of Kid Pitch, Rusty Reed along with players and coaches for Bedford Drug and Jax Radio. The presentation was made before the game. Along with the check donation, Chevy Youth Baseball and Shelbyville Automotive also donated new equipment bags, new ball buckets and other equipment to be used by the league. On June 7, everyone is invited to the Bedford County Baseball fields at H.V. Griffin Park for a Chevrolet Test Drive Event, where every test drive will earn the league more in donations from Chevrolet.
