Some square parking will be permit-only

Bedford County will make 50 of the 75 parking spaces on the north and east sides of the county courthouse permit-only and will issue permits to county employees. The plan was approved Tuesday night by Bedford County Board of Commissioners. The county controls the 75 parking spaces inside the L-shaped concrete island that wraps around the north and east sides of the parking lot. The spaces outside that island are controlled by the City of Shelbyville and aren't affected by Tuesday night's action...
