Cemetery wreck (Local News ~ 10/24/14)
A Petersburg woman suffered what investigators think was a medical issue, causing her to lose control of her vehicle and strike a Shelbyville public works truck before coming to rest inside First Baptist Church's cemetery Thursday. According to authorities, Teresa Butler rolled through the stop light at Depot Street and Highway 82, crossing into the opposite lane and hitting the truck, slightly injuring Ben Doak of the public works department. Her vehicle then took down a chain fence around the cemetery before coming to a stop. Butler was transported to Heritage Medical Center. (T-G Photo by Brian Mosely) -

No charges were filed, but a man from Georgia attempting to repossess a vehicle at an Enden Avenue home was told to leave by police Tuesday afternoon.
