Several indicted by grand jury

A number of individuals were indicted by the Bedford County grand jury Monday, while two cases were not presented. The two suspects will have to wait until the grand jury meets again on June 15, to see if the charges against them move forward. If the cases are not presented, the persons would be free to go on those criminal counts...

I hope everyone is enjoying a pleasant weekend! The library staff is ready for a little break after the chaos of the past few weeks during the move. Slowly, but surely, we are getting boxes unpacked and preparing for our big Grand Opening this coming Saturday, May 30th. Activities start at 10 a.m. and lead up to the dedication and flag raising at 3 p.m. There will be food trucks, tours, entertainment and more. Please add us to your weekend plans...
