TuTu's celebrates birthday (Business ~ 08/19/15)
Tutu's Treasures celebrated its first anniversary Saturday, Aug. 15. Representatives from the boutique thanked their customers for their loyalty and are looking forward to meeting new customers in the upcoming year. Trucking moves America forward (Business ~ 08/19/15)
Titan Transfer has joined the Trucking Moves America Forward campaign, to promote the importance of trucking in the everyday lives of the public. The company has three trailers newly wrapped with promotional graphics promoting the campaign. "We are proud to be a part of the Trucking Moves America Forward program by covering three of our newest trailers with the message, and we hope that many Americans will come to appreciate all of the hardworking individuals in the trucking industry," said Titan CEO Tommy Hodges. Pampered contest winner (Business ~ 08/19/15)
Donna Blanche of Shelbyville was the winner of a spa day at Joi De Vie Salon on South Cannon Boulevard as part of a Times-Gazette subscription promotion held earlier this summer. On Tuesday, Blanche redeemed her prize -- a pedicure, haircut, hair style, manicure, massage, facial and a gift certificate to Catie's Country Chic Boutique, which adjoins the salon. "The phone will be in the car," Blanche told her children. "If you need something, call Dad -- don't call me." From left are Madison Finch, Blanche, Lynn Dropka Womack, Dave Armour and Melanie Sliger. Womack said the salon was delighted to partner with the Times-Gazette to put on the contest. New T-G subscribers during the contest period were entered in a random drawing for the prize.
