Goal exceeded: Toys for children's hospital (Local News ~ 12/16/15)
On Dec. 3, the Times-Gazette reported on Cascade Middle School student Tori Hull and her drive to collect Christmas toys for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Hull, 13, had set a goal of $2,000 worth of toys and monetary donations this year, which would have doubled last year's collection. Driver allegedly tries to evade deputy

One person was killed and another seriously injured in a head-on crash on State Highway 64 just south of the State Highway 82 intersection near Beech Grove at mid-afternoon Tuesday.
