Gunshots don't stop wheel/tire thief

A man who stole three tires and rims from a vehicle at a Longview Road repair shop last Wednesday morning narrowly got away after being caught trying to steal the remaining tire and rim. John Thomas 'Tom' Wright (Obituary ~ 12/29/15)
John Thomas "Tom" Wright, 85, of Lewisburg died Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill with the Rev. Judy Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill. Three Moore County men have been charged with stealing several guns from a Normandy home in August. An completely unexpected tornado touched down in a small area of northeastern Shelbyville early Christmas morning, according to the National Weather Service and Bedford County Emergency Management Agency.
