Hospital to jail for meth blast suspect

The woman burned in a meth lab explosion early Tuesday has been arrested following her release from a hospital. Brenda Hayes Hummel, 76, of Nashville, a native of Shelbyville, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. At her request, she was cremated. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary United Methodist Church in Nashville. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. and continue after the funeral at the church.
