James Franklin Stevenson, 82, of Unionville died Saturday, April 9, 2016 in Shelbyville after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lawrence Funeral Home in Chapel Hill with the Rev. Ronnie Grooms and the Rev. David Wall officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Simpson Cemetery in Rover. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. -

Organizers hope swimming lessons save lives (Local News ~ 04/12/16)
