Remembering Gary Smotherman (Local News ~ 05/20/16)
The Bedford County Emergency Medical Services Unionville station dedicated a flagpole Thursday in memory of Gary Smotherman. He died May 19, 2015 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident two weeks earlier. Smotherman had 23 years' service as a paramedic, EMS director Ted Cox said.
