People with disabilities can open special accounts

On June 13, Tennessee became the second state in the nation to open enrollment for ABLE accounts, a savings program for people with disabilities, the Community Development Center reported this week in its newsletter. Duo charged in vehicle burglary spree

"Oh, .... my bad," said a suspect in a series of auto burglaries as he looked at a victim who caught him breaking into a vehicle. He was right. Based on a detailed description the victim gave Shelbyville police, officers arrested James Donald McBride, 25, of Turning Leaf Court moments later at a North Main Street convenience store. McBride and Trenton Carlos Ransom, 35, of Scotland Heights are suspects in 13 vehicle burglaries early Saturday...
