"You don't need to know my name," said the caller. There are, obviously, times when reporters must rely on anonymous sources -- although generally those sources are not anonymous to the reporter. During their famous Watergate investigation, Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein and their editor, Ben Bradlee, all knew exactly who Deep Throat was; they just didn't share that information with their readers, protecting their source's anonymity. ...

Teachers help design new Cascade High

Plans are progressing for the future Cascade High School, officials say. Superintendent Don Embry gave a brief update on the school plans during Tuesday's school board meeting. County architect John Davis recently met with school officials, Embry said. The site has been cleared of brush. Core drilling for geothermal testing will be done possibly today or soon thereafter.
