Taser doesn't stop man from evading pursuers

Deployment of a taser wasn't enough to stop a fleeing suspect early Saturday. The man, who gave his name as John Hall, was asked by officer Letisia Butler why he was in the parking lot of S & A Machine, Prince Street, at 4:32 a.m. Hall ran when hearing over police radio that there was an active warrant against him., police said. Officers David Curley and Jerry Lawrence joined the chase, and Curley used his taser with one probe striking Hall in the leg. He kept running, evading police...
