Gasoline pipeline flowing once again

ATLANTA (AP) -- Colonial Pipeline restarted the gasoline pipeline in Alabama that had been shut down because of a major leak, which caused shortages and surging fuel prices across the South. The pipeline was reopened Wednesday evening, company officials said in a statement. The future Cascade High School continues to take shape. Bedford County Architect John Davis updated the Board of Education Tuesday on the school's design. The floor plan is "firmed up," he said. Stephanie Lynn Jones, 37, of Columbia died there Wednesday, Sept, 21, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia with the Rev. Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday.

In association with the annual ROcKFEST youth concert, organizers will hold a series of public events for the entire family. The events start at 9 a.m. Saturday and run throughout the day.
