Parts car stolen from fire site on Coney Island Road

An unregistered 1999 Kia parts car was stolen last Saturday or Sunday from property where a home recently burned on Coney Island Road, police said. Several other items have gone missing since the blaze, a family member said. An iPhone dropped Tuesday in the parking lot of J. Liquor law talk delayed

The Shelbyville City Council may be passing on changing liquor store oversight, for another month at least. City Manager Jay Johnson asked that the topic be delayed a month. City attorney Ginger Shofner was absent from the Tuesday study session due to illness, he said.
