Jared reflects on 'fantastic' year in 4-H (Features ~ 10/25/16)
I have had a fantastic year in 4-H. My main project is Personal Development with an emphasis on leadership, citizenship, public speaking and community service. I made a speech and exhibit on the attack on Pearl Harbor, called a Day of Infamy, and how it affected my family. My two great-grandfathers, Earl Smith and Tom Habel, enlisted in the Navy after the attack and served aboard ships in the Pacific. I am proud of them for their sacrifice and service during World War 2... -
