During a recent concert, the Community Middle School Beginning Band and Concert Band performed before a large audience. As part of the admission, people were asked to bring canned goods. These items were donated to the food program at Rover Baptist Church. -

Shelbyville Police Officer Brock Horner was dispatched to Couch Lane on Wednesday, responding to a complaint of small children being in a home where an argument had erupted. The children were in the home upon Horner's arrival, according to a police report. Horner met outside with a male subject, who stated that he and his girlfriend had been arguing about a dirty home. The girlfriend reported that she was having some problems with her eye, so she had not been able to clean...
