Wayne Dillingham of the Middle Tennessee Education Center (MTEC) presents the third annual “MTEC Champion Award for Outstanding Research” award on Tuesday. Each year, Cascade students participate in the middle school’s Eighth Grade Research Fair. Deborah Smith of the school’s faculty is in charge of the event. Judging took place on Feb. 8. Bell Buckle railroad crossing now set for Wednesday closure
