Theft, forgery charges result in 6-year sentence

A 36-year-old Shelbyville woman was sentenced in a plea deal Thursday to serve six years in prison on charges of theft and forgery. Amanda Lee Jackson will have to serve a minimum of 30 percent of the sentence, almost two years.
