Plethora of books talk about dads
(Column ~ 06/18/17)
Happy Father's Day! Thanks to all the dads out there who bring their kids to the library or read to them on a regular basis. Thanks for letting others see you read, use and be proud of your library. No potato chips for this dog!
(Column ~ 06/18/17)
We had a little dog when I was a toddler by the name of Cheppa. I've never known why my family gave the dog that name. CHRISTIANA — The man credited by law enforcement with holding two Georgia prison escapees until police arrived rejected the “hero” label on Friday, and said credit should go to forces well beyond his control. “I realized I had two ex-cons wanted for murder who had just shot at law enforcement who had nothing to lose and for some reason they surrendered and laid down on the concrete in my driveway,” Patrick Hale said. “If that doesn’t make you believe in Jesus Christ, I don’t know what does.”...
