New church service to begin (Local News ~ 07/07/17)
On Sunday, First United Methodist Church on the square will begin a six-week trial of a new worship service, “Wellspring,” at 8:45 a.m. Sundays. Critical blood shortage prompts emergency call (Local News ~ 07/07/17)
The American Red Cross is facing a critical blood shortage and is issuing an emergency call for eligible blood and platelet donors of all blood types to give now and help save lives. Blood donations have fallen short of expectations for the past two months, resulting in about 61,000 fewer donations than needed and causing a significant draw down of the Red Cross blood supply. The shortfall is the equivalent of the Red Cross not collecting any blood donations for more than four days... -

Trina Renee Stewart, 57, of Shelbyville died Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. A celebration of life service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday at Eastside Church of the Nazarene in Tullahoma with Elizabeth Sparkman officiating. There will be no visitation. Rollover accident (Local News ~ 07/07/17)
Seven people, four children and three adults, were taken by ground ambulance to Tennova Healthcare-Tullahoma Thursday afternoon around 4:30 following a one-vehicle rollover accident. The wreck occurred on U.S. 41A South a half mile south of Normandy Road. According to a witness who was following the vehicle, they were headed southbound and the minivan swerved left then hard right and went off the road, rolled once and ended up facing the opposite direction that it had been traveling.
