Crash injures one (Local News ~ 08/08/17)
One man was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision involving a red Dodge pickup and a white compact sedan at the intersection of State Route 437 and Railroad Avenue this morning at around 7 a.m. The injured man was driving the sedan. The driver of the pickup got out of his vehicle by climbing out the back window. The pickup was hauling a trailer with a riding mower and other lawn care tools. (T-G Photo by Terence Corrigan) -
Long pursuit concludes with Lovvorn's capture

A suspect who eluded police in a stolen SUV last week was captured after another chase, again in the stolen vehicle, late Saturday night in Murfreesboro. Jon Canada Lovvorn was forced to a stop on Interstate 840 in Murfreesboro shortly before midnight by a Rutherford County deputy. He was driving a 2013 Nissan Armada stolen from Coffee County, in which he had outrun Shelbyville police last Wednesday...
