The Busy Bee FCE met at the Shelbyville-Bedford County Senior Citizens Aug. 28 at 1 p.m. Diane Wagner called the meeting to order by asking Peggy Jones to read "Summer Blessings." Devotion was given by Shirley Solomon. Roll was answered by five members. Minutes were read and approved. Dues were collected for 2018. Intoxicated man naked, but covered with blanket

Shelbyville police officers responded to a report of a man sleeping in a ditch Wednesday morning, a report said. Officers were dispatched to Belmont Avenue and Coney Island Road and found a naked man wrapped in a blanket, the report said. The man said his name was Avi Eliu and he did not know his birthday. He had bloodshot eyes and a dry mouth. He could not say where he lived but pointed northeast and said it was in that direction...

ATLANTA -- The operator of a major gasoline pipeline estimates it can resume carrying fuel in the Houston area by Sunday, potentially avoiding a lengthy shutdown that would intensify gasoline shortages.
