New Eagle Scout (Local News ~ 01/10/18)
William Stone Ralston, a member of Boy Scout Troop 699, was awarded his Eagle Scout designation on Dec. 30. Ralston’s Eagle Scout project was building an outhouse on Leatherwood Island on Tims Ford Lake. Previously, there had been no facilities on the five islands where camping is allowed at Tims Ford State Park. In addition to the outhouse, Ralston cleaned the island and built a fire pit.
