Overdose results in drug charges

Police called to check an address from where a "misdialed" 911 call originated found a woman suffering from a possible drug overdose. Amber Rogers is being charged with possession of a schedule II drug and paraphernalia, Shelbyville police said. Rogers was obviously "under the influence and in distress" when she answered the door, according to officer Nick Jordan's report. She was taken to Tennova Healthcare-Shelbyville...

MTSU employability classes provide skills

Three new totally online courses at MTSU will allow career-minded students a chance to improve their employability. The one-credit-hour courses were created by Virginia Hemby, a professor of business education, and are being offered for the first time in the spring 2018 semester.
