Bedford County Courthouse was emptied for a short time at midday after a bomb threat was received at Circuit Clerk Michelle Murray’s office, directly above the head of Bedford County deputy Tommie Boleyn as he briefs officers on search activities. I made a comment here in the newsroom that I ought to write a column about HQ, the daily trivia game played on smartphones. I went to the web to do a little background research and discovered that USA Today had done a story that very day. So now I look like I'm jumping on USA Today's bandwagon, I suppose -- but then again, HQ has been getting a lot of coverage lately... -
