The Bedford County Animal Control Pet of the Week is Shelby. She is a 2 year old Terrier mix, current on all vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and Heartworm Negative. BCAC is running an adoption special for the month of March; all adoptions for dogs and cats will be $25. -

Grieving a loss is a natural part of life, but sometimes being told that doesn't make one feel a lot better. There is no right or wrong way to react to personal loss. It does usually help to know that those around you understand and can relate to the sadness you are feeling. Sometimes folks get "stuck" in a certain phase of the grieving process and need help from others to move on to happier times...
