Paolo Pichardo, a senior at Shelbyville Central High School, completes a take-out order Thursday for Jesus Fernandez. Both youths are members of the National Honor Society. They were participating all day Thursday in the Scholars for Service, a program in which businesses and teachers made a donation to the NHS in exchange for a student’s assistance. Paolo was helping her parents, Samuel and Claudia, at their restaurant, Aguascalientes, on Fairfield Pike. Jesus was working at his father’s company and was picking up their lunch.
