Reynolds, who recently accepted a job with the Murfreesboro Post, spoke to Bedford County Arts Council on Monday night about his self-published novels “Hot Dogs Really Do Bark” and “All The Trees Are Lime Green,” the first two-thirds of a planned trilogy. Convicted felon charged with possessing firearm

Mary Lynn celebrates her 102nd birthday April 11 at the Carriage House Inn in Shelbyville. Posing with her is her son, Bob Prince and daughter Marilyn Lewis. Mary grew up in Bedford County on her daddy’s farm on Old Tullahoma Highway. When she married, she moved into Shelbyville where her husband owned and operated an Esso fuel dealership. When asked what historic event comes first to her mind, Mary said, the space shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986. Mary was walking on a beach in Florida that day and witnessed the tragedy as the Challenger broke apart 73 seconds into its flight killing all seven crew members. (T-G Photo by Terence Corrigan) -
