Abby Parker of Shelbyville was recently recognized during Tennessee 4-H Roundup at the University of Tennessee at Martin with the Vol State award, the highest level of recognition a Tennessee 4-H member may achieve. Home burglary suspect found with phone, keys

A suspect who allegedly walked into a home July 30 and stole prescription drugs and a cellphone was arrested Tuesday, The victim told the Bedford County Sheriff's Office he awoke to discover the drugs and phone missing from his residence in the 2500 block of Highway 64 West. A tracker app traced the phone to Whitaker Road, where the victim and his son say they found it and the drugs in the hands of Samantha M. Ahnefeld, 25, of Sims Road...
