A swearing-in ceremony for Bedford County officials elected or re-elected earlier this month will be held 3 p.m. Friday in the second floor courtroom at the county courthouse. Tyson awards grant to Second Harvest (Local News ~ 08/30/18)
Tyson Foods on Wednesday announced a $125,000 grant to Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, $37,000 of which will be used to fund monthly mobile pantry distributions in Shelbyville. That's expected to include 240,000 pounds of produce, dry goods and canned protein. The dress rehearsals are over. The first two weeks of the season revived a pair of rivalries for the Cascade Champions (0-2). Entering Week 3, the Champs enter Region 4-AA play against East Robertson (1-1). “This week is a huge week. Moore County and Jo Byrns were pride weeks, but this week is a region game.
