Lawn equipment attracts thieves

Lawn care equipment was target of thieves over the weekend, authorities were told. A friend told the victim he saw the chain saw at a pawn shop in Smyrna, according to a Bedford County Sheriff's Office report. A suspect was named. The owner said he began to suspect the repairer of theft after seeing his name published in the T-G on a charge of theft of property.
