A man spent Monday night in jail and faces a $1,500 bond for allegedly trying to shoplift a $15 baseball cap from Walmart. A loss prevention specialist told police David Jason Wilhoite, 36, of Bluestocking Hollow Road removed the cap’s price tag and attempted to leave without paying Monday. Tori and Russ Taff welcome guests to the Franklin Theatre in Franklin for the nationwide simulcast Tuesday night of “Russ Taff: I Still Believe,” a documentary about the Grammy and Dove Award-winning singer-songwriter, his battle with alcoholism, and the impact on his marriage, career and family.
