Criminal Justice Explorers (Local News ~ 11/27/18)
The Criminal Justice Student Organization at Shelbyville Central High School has developed an Exploring program through the Boy Scouts of America. Exploring, which has been open to both genders for decades, is a career-oriented development program affiliated with Scouting. Individual Explorer posts focus on particular career fields, such as criminal justice. Students within the Explorer post will have the opportunity to explore numerous areas of law enforcement as well as the criminal justice field. Having an Explorer post will make available scholarship opportunities through the Scouting program.
