Ron Stinson, 60, of Holt’s Corner in Marshall County, died Friday morning, February 22, 2019 at his home. His wife, Vickie Ghee Stinson, is a teacher at Community School in Unionville. High water from another round of heavy rains Saturday is causing problems at several locations around Bedford County. Fair Haven Baptist Church, U.S. 231 North, has been opened as an evacuation shelter. No widespread flooding of homes has been reported, but several people have been evacuated from mobile homes along Front Street in Normandy as water is being released from Normandy Dam. Fire trucks have been moved from the Normandy fire hall to various locations around the town...
