Suspect resists cuffs, gives false name (Local News ~ 04/18/19)
A man who allegedly resisted handcuff attempts was charged with resisting arrest and criminal impersonation Tuesday. Damerial Centez Jones, 26, of Nashville was initially stopped on Elm Street for speeding by officer David Dye. Jones allegedly identified himself as his brother and gave a false Social Security number after his initial arrest for driving without a license, police said. McCartney Trott, 8, was the winner of the Times-Gazette’s spring coloring contest, winning $25. Brysen Lowe, 7, won $15 for second place, and Alayna Smitty, 5, received $10 for third place.
