A vandal or vandals inflicted extensive damage to the conference center at the Parish Patch, Cortner Road, overnight Tuesday, according to a Bedford County Sheriff's Office report. A blown tire led to a three-vehicle crash Thursday on Fairfield Pike at Brown Lane. According to police, Robert S. Madeo, 47, of Peacock Lane said a tire blew on his truck (left), causing it to cross the center line in front of a vehicle driven by Jacqueline S. Hoskins, 54, of White Street and being followed by a car driven by Bailey S. Ledbetter, 17, of Morton Street. Hoskins and a passenger, Lottie A.
