Tyler Holman, a recent graduate of Riverdale High School in Murfreesboro, won a 2019 Nissan Versa, valued at $15,330, from Newton Nissan South in Shelbyville. This is the fourth year the dealership has given away a car to a Middle Tennessee high school student. Holman will attend Cumberland University in Lebanon this fall. “Newton Nissan pays for both the car and sales taxes, so Tyler doesn’t have to pay anything for her new car,” says Mike Castro, Newton Nissan South’s General Manager and Operator. Students enter the contest by bringing in their report card from the most recent school year. Students increase their chances of winning by making good grades, since they receive one entry per “A” on their report card.
