Two men were killed in weekend traffic accidents in Bedford County. •Michael C. “Chase” Cozart, 20, of the Wheel community died Sunday of injuries suffered around 11:25 p.m. Saturday on Midland Road north of Shelbyville. For anyone who is not aware, Shelbyville has a facility known as the C.R.O.S.S. Shelter Project which was started to address the homelessness in our community. Recently, we had a few fundraisers in which some individuals shared some unpleasant comments to some of our guests and volunteers. Cascade students work for good causes

Last week at Cascade, the FCCLA club continued to sell Pura Vida bracelets to students and teachers. They charge just $6 per bracelet, and all proceeds are going to the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville.
