Coronavirus cases continue to increase locally

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Bedford County rose overnight from 33 to 40 on Thursday — up 73.9 percent. The case count rose to 48 in Friday's update from the Tennessee Department of Health. On Tuesday of this week (April 14) there were 5,283 cases with 124 deaths reported in Tennessee. On Thursday, the death count was up to 141 and the case count was up to 6,262. From Tuesday to Thursday the death count was up 13.7 percent and the number of cases had jumped 18.5 percent...
