Floyd Michael “Mike” Knois, 58, of Lewisburg died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 in Lewisburg. A family graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Simpson Cemetery in Rover with Reed Swindle, Eric Moss and Cliff Vines officiating. No visitation will be held due to coronavirus limitations. Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Chapel Hill, is handling arrangements.

The Lady Champions won the District 8-A championship and followed with a Region 4-A title as well. Barbara Diane Gordon, 65, of Winchester, formerly of Shelbyville, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Elk River Health and Rehab in Winchester. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Jennings-Moore-Cortner Funeral Home in Lynchburg with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.

Claudette Phillips Cobble, 80, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at her home. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with Brother Scott Reed officiating. Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. Saturday at Doak-Howell Funeral Home following social distancing guidelines.
