Bedford County voters favor Hagerty in GOP Senate race

Bill Hagerty led Dr. Manny Sethi by less than 400 votes, 51.55 to 43.35 percent, in the Republican race for U.S. Senate as Bedford Countians went to the polls Thursday. Hagerty received 2,248 votes and Sethi 2,042. As of mid-evening the Associated Press projected Hagerty as the winner with 52 percent of the statewide vote.
