A stranger found in a Shelbyville man’s yard with drugs fought a police officer while being arrested early Sunday, according to an investigative report. Wreck could have been worse (Local News ~ 08/11/20)
Brenda N. Allison, 60, driver of the overturned car, and Kenneth Piar, 51, of Edgeview Drive, who was driving the truck in background, escaped serious injury in a crash on Colloredo Boulevard at mid-morning Saturday. Witnesses, who pulled Allison from her car, told police she ran a stop sign on Morton Street. Allison was treated for a head laceration, police said. -

In the most recent 10 days (from July 31 to Aug. 9) the total number of active cases was, on a daily average, up by 35 percent from the previous 10 day period. From July 31 through Aug. 9, the average number of active cases per day was 231.7. In the previous 10 days, from July 21 through July 30, the daily average of active cases was 171.5... -
