Traffic stop results in drug charges (Local News ~ 09/01/20)

Road construction on schedule (Local News ~ 09/01/20)
The U.S. 41A project was divided into two segments by Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT). Segment 1 runs from SR-64 to west of Jenkins Road and Segment 2 runs Madison Street from west of Jenkins Road to near SR276/Thompson Creek Road. Segment 1, according to Ian Preston, TDOT community transportation planner, is not scheduled for completion until the end of 2021, but segment 2 should be completed by the end of this year. There were some utility delays, Preston reports, but construction is currently back on schedule. -
