Scammers claim to be from Amazon

Several Bedford County have been contacted by phone recently from scammers claiming to be with Amazon, law enforcement said. Among victims is a Bedford County woman who received a call from someone claiming a $700 transaction had been made to her Amazon account and asking if she wanted to talk to their security department. She said no, but later Googled ‘Amazon security,” called a number that appeared and talked to a man who said his name was “Jason.”...
