Lions Club honor (Local News ~ 10/20/20)
Shown l-r are Lion Eddie Wright representing Tennessee Lions Charities and Lion Katie Guthrie-Shearin who is currently Council Chair for Lions of Tennessee and Lion Marc Majors who is president of Shelbyville Lions Club. Katie was presented the Lindsey Jennings Fellow award, the second highest award honor given to Lions of Tennessee. This was given by Shelbyville Lions Club to honor her for her year serving as District Governor for Lions of District 12-S in Tennessee. Katie is currently serving in a higher rank as Council Chair for the state of Tennessee. -
Chamber ribbon cutting (Local News ~ 10/20/20)
The Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce welcomed the Nash Family Creamery with a ribbon cutting this week. The business features locally made ice cream and other local farm products including cheeses and meats, and fresh baked goods. Nash Family Creamery is located at 4019 Hwy 41A North in Chapel Hill. The creamery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The phone number is (931) 294-2999. -

Approximately 60 people gathered to stand up for inclusiveness and against racism and the Ku Klux Klan at a rally Saturday on the east lawn of Bedford County Courthouse.
